Project Description:
“Deep” is the tenth and final of this series of abstract drawings and was created in studio in Rehoboth Beach, DE. This work furthers the shift in the evolution of the drawings in this series toward tighter, more orderly compositions but represents a departure because it was begun as an effort to process a heart-break by honoring and expressing unconditional love. It was begun in 2009 and completed in 2012 as construction on my first architectural commission was underway – a process I was supervising. My adventures in consciousness studies were coming home to roost as I put into action my burgeoning understanding of the various ways that expanding human experience through elevated consciousness might affect our shared reality.
